If you can’t watch the video here is the low down. Here are my favorite combinations…
Apples and almond butter. Or even bananas. Boiled eggs. Bell peppers, or cucumbers with hummus to dip in. Celery and peanut butter. Or even Greek yogurt and berries. These are really my one of my favorite breakfasts or even an evening snack for dessert.

I can’t hide the fact I love these quick options. Check out my Instagram Feed http://www.instagram.com/staciakennedy I love these!!

Strawberries and Cream Day but no cream just Greek Yogurt #FageGreekYogurt and sliced almonds! ⠀ ⠀ Healthy doesn’t have to taste gross. I love this is like dessert!! It’s fun to try new dishes that become a new way of life. I think Greek Yogurt is an acquired taste. If your used to eating regular yogurt. I tried regular yogurt recently and had to toss it. Crazy how our taste buds change. You grow up eating what your parents feed you. Now that I have been on this health journey and make my own food choices for myself and my family you adapt to new flavors. Making these changes has helped me crave fresh, natural fruits and veggies, not processed and junk. Starting my coaching business has allowed me to keep working on myself and be an example outside of just my family. So I hope my pretty and not so pretty food pics inspires you to try something healthier because it’s oh so yummy!

Diabetes runs in my family and I also had gestational diabetes so I have to be extra careful. I found that pears are a great choice for fruit since it is high in fiber and great for diabetics to eat. For expecting or nursing moms, they also contain folate. Pears aren’t too shabby in the mineral department either, containing calcium, magnesium, potassium, copper, and manganese. Vitamin C and copper are antioxidant nutrients, so eating pears is good for your immune system and may help prevent cancer The most amazing pear I ever had was from Oregon by @HarryandDavid. This one right here came very close to that first taste I ever had of an #HarryandDavidPears. Now those walnuts I actually never liked them growing up my mom always put them in brownies and I ask her not to make me any with them. Now I eat them plain or in salads. I love them almost as much as #almonds but still try not to eat too much healthy fats. Sometimes too much of a good thing isn’t good. Want to know the benefits of walnuts they contain omega-3 fatty acids, which increase the activity of the brain. Omega-3 fatty acids coupled with iodine and selenium add to ensuring optimum functioning of the brain. These are my latest fruit and nut combination obsession, what is yours? #harryanddavid #pursuepretty#thatsdarling#thedarlingmovement#oregonmade#madeinoregon#onthetable#pears#royalrivierapears#prettythings #vegan#veganlife#eatyourfruit#theartofslowliving#agift #diabetic #gestationaldiabetes #diabetes #healthysnacks #walnuts #omega3 #healthyfats
